A Moment Frame is a framing system in which beams and columns are joined by rigid, moment-resisting connections so the frame resists lateral loads through bending rather than diagonal bracing. In data centers moment frames provide lateral stability while keeping bays open and free of bracing, giving flexibility for equipment access, routes and openings.
