A Composite Beam is a beam in which a steel section acts together with a concrete slab, connected by shear studs, so the two materials share load and increase strength and stiffness. In data centers composite beams give efficient long-span floors with reduced depth and deflection, helping carry heavy equipment loads while keeping structural zones shallow.
