Lateral Stability System

Structural Frame & Load Paths
Also known asLateral Load Resisting SystemStability System

A Lateral Stability System is the arrangement of structural elements, such as bracing, shear walls, cores or moment frames, that resists horizontal loads from wind and seismic action and keeps the building stable. In data centers it must control sway and drift within limits that protect the frame, cladding and sensitive equipment, and is coordinated with layouts and openings.
