A Power Availability SLA is the contractual guarantee that electrical power to a customer's equipment will be available for a specified percentage of time, often 99.999% or higher for fault-tolerant designs. It is a core colocation commitment, defines how outages are measured and excluded, and reflects the resilience of the facility's UPS, generator and distribution architecture.
