Power Capacity is the amount of electrical power a data center, room, row or rack can reliably supply to IT and facility loads, constrained by utility supply, transformers, switchgear, UPS and distribution ratings. It is expressed in kilowatts or megawatts and is a primary limiter on how much equipment can be deployed, tracked closely for capacity management.
