Seismic Bracing

Structural Frame & Load Paths
Also known asSeismic Restraint

Seismic Bracing is the restraint added to non-structural components and distribution systems so they resist earthquake forces and do not fall or rupture. It includes braced supports and snubbers for cable trays, busway, pipework, ductwork and suspended equipment. In data centers seismic bracing keeps power and cooling distribution intact during a quake, preventing service loss and hazards even when the primary structure survives.
