An ITUE (IT-Power Usage Effectiveness) is a metric equal to total IT equipment energy divided by the energy delivered to compute components such as CPUs, GPUs and memory. It isolates internal server overheads, including power-supply conversion, fans and voltage regulators, that fall outside PUE. Multiplying ITUE by PUE yields TUE, giving a complete view of efficiency from the utility feed down to the transistor.
