Annualized PUE is PUE calculated using energy measured over a full year rather than at a single point, capturing seasonal variation in cooling and load. Because efficiency changes with outdoor conditions and utilization, an annualized figure gives a more accurate and representative measure of true operating efficiency than an instantaneous reading.
