Angled Physical Contact Connector

Structured Cabling
Also known asAPC connector

An Angled Physical Contact (APC) Connector is a fiber connector whose endface is polished at an eight-degree angle so that reflected light bounces into the cladding rather than back down the core. This drives return loss very low, which matters for singlemode, high-power and analog links; APC ferrules are keyed green and must never be mated to flat PC connectors.
