Containment Segregation is the practice of routing different cable services in physically separate cable trays, baskets or trunking to avoid interference, ease maintenance and meet standards. In data centers, power, data and fire cabling are kept apart with defined separation distances or barriers, preventing electromagnetic interference on data links and maintaining safety and orderly, traceable routing.
