Efficiency KPIs
Also known asCoefficient of Performance

A COP (Coefficient of Performance) is a dimensionless efficiency ratio for cooling and heat-pump equipment, equal to the useful heat removed or delivered divided by the electrical energy consumed. A chiller with a COP of 5 rejects five units of heat per unit of electricity, so higher values mean less energy per unit of cooling. In data centers it benchmarks chillers and directly influences mechanical energy use and PUE.
