An XML Schedule Export is the exchange of a project schedule in XML format, used by Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to transfer programmes between tools and organizations while preserving structure, logic and data. Unlike the proprietary XER, XML supports interoperability across different scheduling software, making it useful on data-center projects for sharing schedules with parties on other platforms and for analytics.
