A TN-S earthing system is an arrangement in which the neutral and protective earth conductors are kept separate throughout the installation, run back independently to a single earth point at the source. It gives a clean protective-earth reference free of neutral load currents. Data centers favor TN-S because sensitive IT equipment and its bonding network benefit from a low-noise, dedicated earth path separate from the neutral.
