A Single Line Diagram (SLD) is a simplified drawing that represents an electrical power system using single lines and standard symbols to show how sources, transformers, switchgear, protective devices and loads interconnect. In data centers the SLD is the primary reference for the power distribution architecture, redundancy topology, protection and switching, guiding design, operation and maintenance.
