Shift Handover

Operations Procedures

Shift Handover is the structured transfer of responsibility and information between outgoing and incoming operations staff at the end of a shift. It communicates system status, open issues, active work, alarms and pending actions, usually via a log or briefing. In 24/7 data centers it ensures continuity of awareness and prevents critical information from being lost between shifts.
