A Security Operations Center (SOC) is a facility and team that continuously monitors, detects, analyzes, and responds to cybersecurity threats, typically around the clock. It aggregates logs and alerts, often through a SIEM, and drives incident triage, investigation, and escalation. For data center operators a SOC provides centralized threat detection and coordinated response across infrastructure, tenants, and connected environments.
