QSFP-DD

Structured Cabling

QSFP-DD (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Double Density) is a pluggable optical and copper transceiver form factor that adds a second row of electrical contacts to the older QSFP, giving eight lanes instead of four. It supports 400G and 800G links while staying backward compatible with QSFP modules, and it is one of the dominant faceplate interfaces on data-center leaf and spine switches.
