Planned Maintenance is scheduled, non-emergency work on facility or service infrastructure carried out during agreed windows with advance notice to customers. It includes preventive tasks such as generator testing, UPS servicing and electrical inspections, is usually excluded from SLA downtime calculations, and is coordinated to minimize disruption while keeping critical systems reliable over their lifecycle.
