A Kubernetes Cluster is a set of machines running Kubernetes that jointly schedule and run containerized workloads, comprising a control plane and worker nodes. In data centers it automates deployment, scaling, networking and self-healing of containers across nodes, and is the dominant orchestration platform for cloud-native applications. The control plane manages state while nodes run the workloads.
