All-Flash Array

Storage & Virtualization
Also known asAFA

An all-flash array is a storage system built entirely from solid-state drives rather than spinning disks, delivering high IOPS, low latency, and consistent performance. Modern designs use NVMe drives and often add inline deduplication and compression to control cost. In data centers all-flash arrays serve latency-sensitive workloads such as virtualization, databases, and AI data pipelines where predictable speed matters more than raw capacity.
