A Fire Alarm Interface is the set of monitored and controlled connections linking the fire-detection system to other building and IT systems, such as HVAC shutdown, damper closure, door release, suppression activation, and BMS or EPO signalling. In data centers it ensures that on alarm the facility responds in a coordinated, code-compliant sequence to protect people and equipment.
