Alarm Verification

Fire Detection
Also known asAlarm confirmationCross-zoning

Alarm Verification is a control-panel function that briefly re-confirms a detector signal, or requires a second confirming signal, before declaring a full alarm, to reduce false activations. In data centers it is used cautiously, often through cross-zoning that requires two detectors before releasing suppression, balancing protection against costly unwanted discharges and downtime.
