EN 50600 is the European standard series "Information technology — Data centre facilities and infrastructures," published by CENELEC, covering design, construction and operation across power distribution, environmental control, cabling, security and management. It defines availability and protection classes and energy-efficiency KPIs, providing a common European framework for planning and benchmarking data centers; it has been largely aligned with and superseded by ISO/IEC 22237.
