ASHRAE TC 9.9 is Technical Committee 9.9 of ASHRAE, "Mission Critical Facilities, Data Centers, Technology Spaces and Electronic Equipment." It publishes the widely adopted thermal guidelines that define recommended and allowable temperature and humidity envelopes and equipment classes (A1–A4) for IT hardware, shaping cooling design, economization strategies and reliability across the industry.
