Early Contractor Involvement

Contracts, Procurement & Commercial Control
Also known asECITwo-Stage Tender

Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) is a procurement approach that engages the main contractor during the design phase to contribute buildability, cost, programme and supply-chain input before construction is priced or committed. On data-center projects ECI helps de-risk long-lead procurement, constructability and site logistics early, improving cost and schedule certainty and often leading into a target-cost or two-stage contract.
