A Diffuser is a supply-air terminal that discharges conditioned air into a space in a controlled pattern, mixing it with room air to avoid drafts and stratification. Its geometry shapes the throw and spread of the air. In data centers diffusers deliver cool supply air where overhead distribution is used, and their selection and placement affect how effectively IT heat is removed.
