An Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a packaged assembly of fans, filters, heating or cooling coils, dampers and controls that conditions and moves air through ductwork to serve a space. In data centers AHUs supply cooled, filtered air to data halls or support areas, and may include economizer sections and humidity control as part of the mechanical cooling system.
