A User-Defined Field (UDF) is a custom data field added to activities, resources or other objects in Primavera P6 to store information the standard fields do not capture, such as procurement references, room numbers, drawing numbers or bespoke status flags. On data-center projects UDFs enrich the schedule with project-specific metadata that supports filtering, reporting and integration with other systems.
