A Wet Pipe System is a sprinkler system in which the pipes are permanently filled with pressurised water, discharging immediately when a head is triggered by heat. In data centers it is commonly used in support and office areas for its simplicity and reliability, while pre-action systems are preferred over IT equipment to reduce accidental-discharge risk.
