A Valve Actuator is a device that positions a valve in response to a control signal, using an electric motor, or pneumatic or hydraulic power, to open, close or modulate flow. In data centers valve actuators drive control valves on chilled- and condenser-water circuits, letting the BMS regulate flow to coils and heat exchangers to maintain cooling setpoints.
