A Thermal Map is a visualization of temperature distribution across a data hall, cabinets or equipment, built from sensor data or thermal imaging. In data centers it reveals hot spots, stranded cooling capacity and airflow problems, guiding tile placement, containment and load balancing. Real-time versions in DCIM tools support ongoing cooling optimization.
