A Supplementary Baseline is an additional baseline saved alongside the primary one to capture an alternative or interim reference, such as a revised plan pending formal approval, a scenario, or a mid-project snapshot for comparison. In Primavera P6 multiple baselines can be assigned per project. On data-center programmes supplementary baselines support what-if analysis and interim variance tracking without disturbing the contractual baseline.
