A Strip Footing is a continuous reinforced-concrete foundation running beneath a line of columns or a load-bearing wall to distribute their load along the ground. In data centers strip footings support walls, closely spaced columns and lines of equipment, offering an efficient solution where individual pad footings would overlap or where loads are linear.
