A Slab-on-Grade Data Hall is a data hall built directly on a solid concrete floor without a raised-floor plenum, with power, data and often cooling distributed overhead. This approach supports the heavy point loads of high-density and liquid-cooled racks, simplifies structure and can lower cost, at the expense of under-floor air distribution flexibility.
