A Security Vestibule is an access-controlled enclosure with two interlocking doors that permits only one person to pass at a time, preventing tailgating and piggybacking. Entry through the second door is granted only after the first has closed and credentials are verified. In data centers it controls access to data halls and other secure zones as a key physical-security layer.
