An Access Hatch is a hinged or removable panel set into a floor, ceiling, roof or wall that provides entry to a concealed space such as a plenum, service void, tank or riser. In data centers it allows maintenance access to containment, cabling, drainage and mechanical services while preserving the fire, weather or security integrity of the surrounding fabric.
