Second Fix is the stage of services and finishing work performed after walls, floors and ceilings are closed up, comprising the visible or connecting elements installed onto the concealed first-fix infrastructure, such as faceplates, luminaires, terminations, sanitaryware and trim. In data-center fit-out it includes connecting and dressing final equipment, and precedes testing, commissioning and handover.
