A Relationship, or logic link, is the dependency connecting two activities in a schedule, defining the order in which they can occur through one of four types: Finish-to-Start, Start-to-Start, Finish-to-Finish or Start-to-Finish, optionally with lag or lead. Relationships drive the CPM calculation. On data-center programmes sound relationship logic is what makes the critical path and float values meaningful and dynamic.
