Point of Common Coupling

Utility & Grid Interface
Also known asPCC

The Point of Common Coupling (PCC) is the electrical node where a facility's private power system connects to the utility grid and to other customers, typically at the service entrance or metering point. It is the reference location for measuring power quality, harmonic limits, and voltage compliance under standards such as IEEE 519. For data centers it defines the boundary where on-site generation and storage must behave without disturbing the grid.
