An Overflow Drain is a secondary drainage path that safely discharges water when a primary drain is blocked or capacity is exceeded, preventing dangerous accumulation. On data center roofs and in tanks it provides a visible, code-required backup to roof and storage drainage, protecting the structure and equipment from the loads and ingress caused by trapped water.
