NCR is the abbreviation for Non-Conformance Report, the formal quality record documenting work, material or documentation that does not meet specified requirements. It captures the deviation, root cause, affected scope and disposition (rework, repair, use-as-is or reject), and is tracked to closure. In data-center delivery NCR registers form part of the quality evidence reviewed before commissioning and turnover.
