Also known asUtility Failure SimulationMains Failure Test

A Loss of Utility Test simulates a total mains power failure by opening the incoming utility breakers while the facility runs on load, proving that UPS supports the load and generators start, synchronize and assume load within the design window. In a data center it is a core Level 5 scenario confirming the complete power chain rides through a blackout without dropping critical load.
