A Heavy Haul Route is a road or defined path engineered to carry exceptionally heavy or oversized loads, such as transformers, generators, chillers and switchgear, into and around a data-center site. It requires enhanced pavement construction, adequate width, turning geometry and load-bearing capacity, and is planned early so major plant can be delivered and installed without damaging site infrastructure.
