Greywater Reuse is the treatment and reuse of lightly contaminated wastewater from sinks, showers and similar sources, or of reclaimed municipal effluent, in place of potable water. In data centers it commonly supplies cooling-tower make-up and other non-potable demands, reducing freshwater withdrawal and improving water usage effectiveness. It requires appropriate filtration and chemical treatment to control fouling, scaling and biological growth.
