District Heat Network

Water & Heat Reuse
Also known asDistrict heatingDHNHeat network

A District Heat Network is a system of insulated pipes distributing hot water or steam from central sources to multiple buildings for space heating and hot water. Data centers can feed recovered waste heat into such networks, often via heat pumps, displacing fossil-fuel heating and turning reject heat into a useful community energy supply.
