A Generator Paralleling Panel is the switchgear and controls that synchronize multiple generators and connect them to a common bus so they share load, managing synchronizing, load sharing and protection. In data centers a paralleling panel lets several generators operate together to supply the site's backup load with redundancy, and it coordinates their start, synchronization and load transfer.
