Generator Acoustic Enclosure

Generators & Fuel Systems
Also known asAcoustic CanopySound-Attenuated Enclosure

A generator acoustic enclosure is a weatherproof, sound-attenuating housing around an engine-generator set, lined with absorptive material and fitted with baffled intake and exhaust silencers to reduce radiated noise to permitted levels. It also protects the unit outdoors and integrates the fuel tank and controls. Data centers use acoustic enclosures to meet planning noise limits at the site boundary while housing generator plant in external yards.
