An Environmental Alarm is a monitoring alert triggered when a measured condition such as temperature, humidity, leakage, smoke or airflow crosses a defined threshold. In data centers alarms notify operators through DCIM or BMS platforms so they can respond before conditions threaten equipment or uptime. Threshold tuning balances early warning against nuisance alerts.
