Direct Cloud Connect is a private, dedicated network link between a customer's environment, often in a colocation facility, and a public cloud provider that bypasses the public internet. It delivers consistent low latency, higher throughput and better security than internet-based access, and underpins hybrid architectures; provider examples include AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute and Google Cloud Interconnect.
