Dew Point

Environmental Monitoring

Dew Point is the temperature at which air becomes saturated and water vapor begins to condense. In data centers it is a key control variable because surfaces below the dew point risk condensation that can damage equipment, while ASHRAE specifies dew-point limits for the operating envelope. Controlling to dew point rather than relative humidity can reduce unnecessary humidification.
